Kırmızı Frenk üzümü çiçeği, Ribes rubrum adlı bitkinin baharda açan, minik ve zarif çiçekleridir. Genellikle soluk yeşilimsi veya pembemsi tonlarda olan bu çiçekler, görsel olarak çok dikkat çekici olmasa da, parfüm dünyasında ferahlatıcı ve asidik-çiçeksi notalara sahip aromalarıyla kıymetlidir. Bu nota, meyvesel kırmızı frenk üzümü akorundan farklıdır. Çiçek formu, tatlı ve ekşi arasındaki zarif dengesiyle, koku kompozisyonlarına ince bir canlılık ve tazelik katar.

Kırmızı frenk üzümü çiçeği, koku paletinde hafif meyvemsi-çiçeksi bir parlaklık olarak öne çıkar. Özellikle ilkbahar-yaz parfümlerinde üst nota veya kalp nota olarak kullanılır. Bu nota; bergamot, limon çiçeği, beyaz çay ya da şakayık gibi notalarla uyum içinde çalışır. Çoğu zaman kadın parfümlerinde romantik ve genç bir etki yaratmak için tercih edilir.
