Yakupotu (Tansy) Notası Tanımı ve Bu Nota ile Bütünleşen Parfümler

Yakupotu, bilimsel adıyla Tanacetum vulgare, aromatik yaprakları ve çiçekleriyle bilinen güçlü kokulu, otsu bir bitkidir. Kendine özgü kokusu oldukça karakteristiktir: hafif acımsı, reçineli, baharatımsı ve bazen tıbbi (bitkisel/şifalı ot) bir nitelik taşır. Doğada kurutulmuş otları anımsatan bu nota, parfümeride özellikle niş ve deneysel kompozisyonlarda kullanılır. Geleneksel çiçeksi veya meyvemsi parfümlerin aksine, yakupotu notası keskin ve aromatik etkisiyle öne çıkar.

Yakupotu yağı, nadir bulunur ve dikkatli dozlanmazsa kompozisyonu baskılayabilir. Bu nedenle, genellikle destekleyici nota olarak; aromatik, fougère veya yeşil temalı parfümlerde görülür. Tansy, aynı zamanda koyu yeşil, acı otları çağrıştıran bir “yeşil nota” özelliği taşır. Erkek parfümlerinde odunsu ve deri akorlarını tamamlamak, kadın parfümlerinde ise sıra dışı bir kontrast yaratmak için kullanılır.
